The Business Model Canvas is a tool that helps design the business model from a holistic standpoint - understanding the company as a whole.
The Value Proposition is our solution to a given problem that our clients face, and how our products and/or services are useful for our clients.
We provide products and/or services. In our daily routine we have some needs and problems to face, and we also have to profit from our activity. We must know how our products and/or services meet our client needs.
What we are capable of doing is our Value Proposition.
The Business Model Canvas, developed by Alex Osterwalder and Yves Pigneur, places the Value Proposition in the center of the canvas. From there we rethink the business and our relationships with clients and other stakeholders as a whole.
